Anti-U.S. Intervention in Syria Crisis
September 7th, 2013: Protesters gathered in front of the Indiana State Capitol to oppose U.S. intervention in the Syrian conflict where President Bashar Assad was accused of using chemical gas attacks in August 2013 on his civilian population. The Obama Administration reported 1,429 people died, including 426 children. President Obama’s request to Congress to authorize war against Syria as an intervention became unpopular an all sides of the political spectrum. Similar protests to the proposed military action occurred around the U.S.
